The players who get better are the ones who shoot in the driveway on a Tuesday in November. 10kHockey counts those pucks, keeps a total that never resets, and shows a coach who is quietly putting in the work.
A shot tracker built for an association, not a single family. A player logs a practice in about ten seconds. Everything above that (the roster, the teams, the season) is there so a coach and an administrator can see the same numbers the player sees.
Pick a shot type, tap a number, save. No keyboard, no date picker, no menus. Designed for cold hands in a garage in November, because that is where the reps actually happen.
The career total carries across seasons and teams. Badges are earned at milestones on the way to 10,000 and are never taken away, not by a correction and not by a bad month.
One missed day a week is forgiven; two is not. Enough to make showing up matter, forgiving enough that one family emergency doesn't end a run a player has built for three months.
The roster is sorted by who needs a nudge, not by who is winning. The name at the top is the player to text tonight. You see volume by week, the shot types the team is quietly avoiding, and who has stalled, before it becomes a conversation in March about why someone stopped enjoying it.
There is no public signup, and that is deliberate. Access runs down a chain of people who already know each other, so no roster is ever reachable by someone outside the association.
You tell us the club, the timezone and roughly how many players. We create it and invite whoever runs it.
They create the rosters for the season and invite each coach to their own team. Coaches see their team and nobody else's.
By email, or by reading out a code at the rink. Both work; the code works even when email doesn't.
A first name, a last initial, and optionally a jersey number and position. Then the counting starts.
One parent holds the account and both households can follow the same player. The daily reminder only fires on days nothing has been logged, and it goes to an adult's phone. Three notifications exist in total, and each can be turned off.
A player is a profile, not an account. The adult who signs up holds the account. A player exists as a profile containing a first name, a last initial, and optionally a jersey number and position, and nothing else.
We never ask a player for, and have nowhere to store:
No advertising. No third-party analytics or tracking. Nothing shared with anyone. A parent can delete a player, or their whole account, at any time, from inside the app or from this website without reinstalling it. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
It is roughly thirty pucks a day for a year, or a hundred a day through a season. Nobody gets there in a weekend, which is exactly why it works: the number only moves for the players who keep turning up. Badges land at 100, 250, 500, 1,000 and on up, so the road there is marked rather than empty.
